Do You Say This to Yourself Sometimes?

A glimmer of God
"great job, dummy."

You ever say or think that after you've made a mistake? Or messed something up?
It may not mean anything, but what you say to yourself matters. You are the sum total of your thoughts. When you are constantly thinking that you are a failure or that you're not good enough, you can experience anxiety, sadness, insecurity, etc.
Are you wondering why you are afraid of success? Are you wondering why you can't seem to accomplish or complete anything? As crazy as it sounds, this is all influenced by how you talk to yourself. You can only go as far as you think. It sounds cliché. I know it does. But have you tried it? Have you tried being nicer to yourself? Have you tried believing that you aren't a failure? The best motivation is affirmation. You can only negatively motivate yourself so long before you shut down. And you wonder why when you try to push yourself, you under-perform. Your body, soul and spirit respond to light and love. When you seek more because you love yourself and believe in what you can do, you WILL accomplish more. You're not a dummy. You're not a screw-up. Yes you've failed. Yes, you've made mistakes. But guess what?...That doesn't define you. Side note, if you are experiencing a lot of failure, maybe you need a new direction, a new approach or more clarity. Don't be afraid to seek something new or even take time to evaluate and then try again.
Be honest. Be hopeful. Be love.
Peace.
